The Philadelphia Shelter Home was established in 1980 to serve the surrounding communities in Kent and Sussex County. We currently shelter to the homeless and disadvantaged by meeting the basic human needs, offering advocacy & case management, facilitating social interaction and creating a supportive community for families, single men and women with children. We help individuals regain control over the crisis in their life, effectively and immediately.

Here is the Laundry Area where tenants can wash their clothes and other belongings.
 
The shelter has seven bedrooms and each includes bunk beds
(and cribs for infants), closet space and a bathroom.
 
Along with their bedroom and bathroom, each
tenant is responsible for keeping the dining area clean.
